The race was from Guthers Island to Lowertown St Martins.
It was the mens race and was a great race to watch being a shorter race than the normal Nut Rock race.
The shorter distance meant for a close race and coxs were looking for the best line to get out of the strong tides rushing down the channel.
Bonnet won the race with the Czar coming in a very close second.
On the boat trip back from St Martins we took a trip around the Galatea which was moored out in the bay.
When back on dry land the cloud parted
